Qatar: Gulf Lights cricket tourney 2018 from Feb 16

The Qatar Veterans’ Cricket League got a boost to their efforts of promoting softball cricket by getting back one of their original sponsors Gulf Lights Electrical Engineering WLL.

Mr. Sanaullah A,R. signed the sponsorship agreement and handed over to chief coordinator Mr. Salim Kaiser.
The tournament will be called the Gulf Lights Cricket Tournament 2018 starting on Friday, 16th February, and finals scheduled for end April 2018.

Mr.Sanaullah who is in Doha for over 45 years has the distinction of being a self made man. Starting from a humble beginning as an employee, he ranks amongst the top expatriate businessmen in Qatar. He is a multi talented person being a good cricketer, a singer, an educationist and a philanthropist par excellence.

Gulf Lights Electrical Engineering WLL ranks amongst the top electrical contracting and trading companies in Qatar.

Eight matches will be played every Friday at the Losail Cricket Complex. All cricket enthusiasts are welcome to enjoy the high scoring IPL model games.

Ajman: Ashok Bai Baria (44), a resident of Valsad - Ahmedabad, succumbed to a heart attack in Ajman. 

The incident occurred on March 13 morning at his residence, following which he experienced severe physical distress leading to the fatal cardiac arrest. 

Fishing has been a longstanding activity in Ajman- UAE, with Baria being actively involved in the profession for many years. 

Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, has informed that all necessary arrangements are underway to repatriate the deceased's body to his hometown.
