Mysuru, Aug 19: A 21-year-old pharmacy student has allegedly ended his life by hanging at his home in Sri Shivarathreshwara Nagar in north Mysuru.
Pavan Kumar, 21, has left a suicide note before hanging himself in his room on the first floor of the house after dinner on Monday. His parents got to know about the incident when they went to wake him up early on Tuesday.
In the note, Pavan said that he was depressed as he couldn't meet the expectations of his parents. He was finding it hard to study as he was reportedly disinterested in course. Besides apologizing to his parents, he has blamed himself for taking the extreme step.
Pavan, who was reportedly depressed for the last few days, had aired his concerns with regard to the studies. He may have ended life late in the night, but it came to light early on Tuesday, NR police said.
