He said that the ruling Congress government of Karnataka and the police department have completely failed to initiate action against the culprits and to instill confidence among the Mogaveera community members in Ullal and surrounding areas, which are returning to normalcy after sporadic communal clashes.
He said that after recent clashes people in Ulall are living in fear and it is the responsibility of the government to instill confidence among members of Mogaveera community.
“We will meet Mogaveera community members and if there was necessity we don't hesitate to meet Muslims too,” he said.
“We want to protect Hindu religion and safeguard its followers. We want to ensure that peace prevails in Ullal”, he said adding that he was not against any particular community.
He also said that a team of swamijis might visit Bantwal as well from where we are hearing incidents of communal clashes these days.
Chief Pontiff of Vajradehi Mutt, Rajashekarananda Swamiji, Kolya Mutt seer Ramananda Swamiji, Mangalore branch seer of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Dharmapalanatha Swamiji were also present among others.
