Bengaluru, Jan 5: Even before political parties like coalition partners Congress and Janata Dal (S) begin finalising their candidates to defeat sitting two-time member P C Mohan in the BJP stronghold of Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha Segment, multi-lingual actor and activist Prakash Rai (Raj) today said he was ready to contest from this seat in 2019 General Elections.
"Thank you for the warm and encouraging response to my new journey.I will be contesting from Bengaluru Central Constituency (in 2019 Lok Sabha elections). Will share details with media in a few days," Prakash tweeted on Saturday.
Prakash’s announcement to enter fray to make it to Parliament had been mixed with BJP leades like former Law Minister saying that there will not be ‘’action, cut, or retake’’ in the parliament.
