Doha: The Karnataka chapter of the Qatar Indian Social Forum, the NRI wing of Social Democratic Party Of India (SDPI), organized its cadre convention on December 26 at fraternity house in Mansoora, Doha. Function was presided by Mr. Abdul Lathif Madikeri.
Resource person Mujeebullah Khan Bangalore addressing the audience said that our main stream ruling parties have failed in providing health, education, security and nutrition facilities thus leading to total failure in contributing to the overall development of our citizens. He also elaborated on the achievements and goals of SDPI.
Vice president, Qatar Indian Social Forum, Zia Ulla Khan Bangalore gave a detailed power point presentation on Muncipality and Corporation elections.
He also explained the possible strategies which could be used in the upcoming elections.
The program began with a welcome speech by Nazeer Paasha, President QISF, Karnataka Chapter.
Many Indian expatriates from different districts of Karnataka received nominal SDPI membership card in the function.
Zameer Ashiq Haleyangady proposed the vote of thanks. Shafeeq Puttur coordinated the function.
