Salman Khan
Mumbai, Oct 9: There seems to be no respite for Salman Khan from the widely publicised hit-and-run case. The actor has been accused of ramming his car into a bakery in suburban Bandra (Mumbai) killing one person and injuring four others. Now, a witness has testified against Khan, stating that the actor was behind the wheels when the accident took place.

In the month of July, the case had been put on hold as important documents and original statements of the witness had gone missing. The case was again reopened on September once all the missing documents were recovered.

Previously, a liquor bar manager in Juhu had identified Salman Khan in a Mumbai court, saying the actor had come to the restaurant with friends on the night of the accident in 2002, but said he was not sure whether the Bollywood actor had taken drinks. Now with the latest development, with a witness testifying against Salman, it would be intriguing to see how this case proceeds.
