To our surprise this time, it"s the Cupertino based tech-giant, Apple, which has finally decided to make its products affordable for our fellow proletariats, who cannot afford the inordinately priced "iProducts".
Though it"s still not clear when Apple placed its 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display on company"s “Certified Refurbished” online store but the company is offering a variety of configurations on its “Special Deals” webpage.
Apple now offers an entry level model with a 2.3GHz Quad-core i7 processor with 8GB of memory and a 256-gigabyte solid state drive is priced at $1,869, a 15 percent savings equaling $330. Also available is a 2.6GHz model with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for $2,379, or a maxed-out 2.7GHz model with 16GB of RAM and a 768GB SSD for $3,189, with the prices representing a savings of $420 and $560, respectively.
Though the MacBook is refurbished, Apple offers the accustomed one-year manufacturer"s warranty at the above stated premium price-tag.
There"s no information as to how long this offer would run, or as to how much stock does Apple have. If you"re planning to buy a MacBook, you might as well give this a shot. When you consider the configurations of Laptops which are available at the price range of $1800-$2000, you would surely admire this amazing deal offered by Apple.
The only two laptops that are comparable the entry-level $1869 laptop are the Asus U500 ($2150) and the Razer Blade II ($2500). Even if we side-line the fact that they"re almost $300-$800 costlier, they still do not equip the amazing Retina display.
Many people overlook the importance of display on their laptops. It"s not just a form factor. If you"re investing in getting a good GPU and a hefty processor, you better have a resplendent, crystal-clear display which can handle all the lines, shapes, and colors magnificently.
