Udupi, Jan 3: Coastal Security Police and Coastal guard are on the toes to find seven fishermen and owner of 'Suvarna Tribuja' fishing boat who went missing on December 15 off Goa coast.
The boat had left the Malpe Fisheries Harbour in Udupi district with about 20 other on December 13.
According to a complaint filed with Coastal Security Police station, Malpe, Nithyananda, brother of Chandrashekar, owner of the fishing boat 'Suvarna Tribhuja' (IND KA02 MM 4632, Red Colour Steel Boat with white top and blue base cabin) ventured into the sea on December 13 along with seven fishermen for fishing in deep sea.
As their fishing duration is of 10 days, they were to return to Malpe on Dec 22.
But till date they have not returned and their whereabouts was not known, according to a release from DG & IGP office here on Thursday.
