Bengaluru, Apr 30: Two girl students have secured 625/625 in the Karnataka SSLC examination 2019 the results of which were announced today.
Srujana D from St Philomena English High School, Anekal, Bengaluru south and Naganjali Parameshwara Naik from Colaba Vithob Shanbagh Kalbagkar high school, Kumta, Uttara Kannada have scored a perfect centum.
Besides, 11 candidates have secured 624/625, and 19 students got 623/625.
Among the districts, Hassan is in the top position with 89.33% pass percentage, followed by Ramanagara which is in the second position with 88.49%, and Bengaluru rural is at the third position with 88.34%. Yadgir district is at the bottom of the list with 53.95%.
A total of 8,25,468 students had appeared in the exam and 6,08,336 students have been declared pass.
Girls have secured more than boys. Girls' pass percentage is 79.59% this time, while boys' secured 78.01%. This time too, rural students have secured more than the urban students. Rural areas scored 76.67 % while the pass percentage of urban areas is 70.70%.
