Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, has expressed the UAE's condemnation of the Israeli occupation's use of excessive force against unarmed Palestinians who exercise their right to demonstrate and demand their legitimate rights, while warning of the negative repercussions of such dangerous escalation.

He stressed that the US decision to transfer the US Embassy to Jerusalem has complicated the situation and put obstacles to the peace process as the decision is a complete prejudice against the historic and permanent rights of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem.

This came during his speech while addressing the Extraordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at Ministerial Level Meeting chaired by the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.

In his speech, he extended thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the Chair of the current session of the Council of the Arab League at ministerial level, for its efforts in organising today's meeting which aimed at discussing the grave developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

He also praised the attendance of the member ministers and their quick response which emphasises the centrality of the Palestinian cause, which, he said," Our first issue,"

Dr. Gargash said that the meeting is being held today in the light of the serious Israeli escalation against the fraternal people of Palestine, which led to the death of dozens of martyrs and hundreds of wounded, in conjunction with the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem.

He went on saying, "While we express our strong condemnation of using the excessive force by the Israeli occupation against unarmed Palestinians who exercise their right and demand their legitimate rights, we warn against the negative repercussions of such a dangerous escalation and we call for international probe to hold those responsible for this massacre accountable. At the same time, we stress that the US decision to transfer the US Embassy to Jerusalem has complicated the situation and put obstacles before the peace process and is deemed a complete bias against the historical and permanent rights of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem which had been guaranteed by the relevant international resolutions and were recognised and supported by the international community,"

He also stressed the need to abide by UN Security Council Resolution No. 478 of 1980, which clearly calls on countries that have established diplomatic missions in Jerusalem to withdraw these missions from the Holy City, while stressing the importance of complying with all international resolutions that call for not to establish or transfer embassies and diplomatic missions to Jerusalem, or recognition of the city as the capital of Israel.

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs indicated, "Jerusalem is a special spiritual value for the humans and as our hearts strive for it every day, we call on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop violence against the fraternal Palestinian people, halt the vicious attack against it and end the brutal occupation. We also call on the Security Council to take effective and decisive steps in this regard. We also slam the use of the Veto by the US and to undermine the Security Council from carrying out its duty to achieve a transparent and impartial probe towards the massacres committed by Israel against the Palestinian people. We stress that there is no security in the region without a just, permanent and comprehensive solution of the Palestinian cause based on the two-state solution,"

He concluded, "We are working, in the Arab framework, to ensure that today's meeting will come out with the steps and strong and effective Arab diplomatic action to seek urgent international intervention to provide international protection for the Palestinians and to indicate the negative repercussions of the US decision on the future of the Palestinian cause in all international organisations, its consequences on the security and stability not only in the Middle East, but also on the whole world and to reach results that promote the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people and all our Arab peoples, so that the perpetrator is not always immune from accountability for the crimes committed against the Palestinian people, which is contrary to all the rules established by the international law."

An Israeli airstrike on the office of Syria’s Baath party in Lebanon’s capital Beirut has killed the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah's Media Relations Officer, Mohammad Afif, reports say.

Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that the Israeli raid struck the Ba'ath party’s building in central Beirut district of Ras Al-Naba'a on Sunday, adding that the strike was an attempt to assassinate the leader of the resistance media front.

According to Baath Secretary-General Ali Hijazi, Afif was having a meeting in the Baath Party headquarters when Israel carried out the attack.

"Afif did not fight with weapons and did not lead a military unit in Hezbollah. Rather, he led a media unit," he said.

Reuters, Sky News, Al Jazeera and a number of Henrew-language media reported that Afif was killed in the Israeli strike.

However, Hezbollah has not yet confirmed Afif’s death or whether he was present at the site or not.

Earlier, the Lebanese Health Ministry said at least one person was killed and three others injured after an Israeli strike targeted a central district in Beirut.

Lebanon's al-Mayadeen television network reported that five people were killed in the attack.

The latest development came after Afif said Hezbollah was behind the Caesarea operation and targeting Netanyahu’s home during a speech at the Ghobeiry area in the southern suburbs of Beirut on October 22.

This was the second assassination attempt on Afif in the last two months, after he survived an attack on the Hezbollah media relations office several weeks ago.

Israel launched a ground assault and massive air campaign against Lebanon in late September after a year of exchanging fire across the Lebanese border in parallel with the Gaza war.

At least 3,287 people have been killed in Israeli strikes in Lebanon over the past year, with the vast majority in the past seven weeks. Another 14,222 have been wounded, mostly women and children.

In response to the ongoing aggression, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has been staging hundreds of retaliatory strikes against the occupied Palestinian territories and the Israeli forces trying to advance on southern Lebanese areas.

The movement has vowed to sustain its strikes until the regime ends the escalation.

Hundreds of Israeli settlers conducted a brutal attack in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.

The settlers set fire to numerous homes and vehicles of Palestinians and then moved to the main road connecting Ramallah to other cities, targeting Palestinian cars passing by.

They stormed the city of al-Bireh, near Ramallah, and burned Palestinian property and vehicles.

A woman sustained injuries after the settlers hurled stones at her vehicle, according to Palestinian news outlets.

Tension has been running high across the West Bank because of Israel’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, which has killed at least 43,341 people, mostly women and children, since last year’s October.

The Monday settler attack came as the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas warned of Israel’s plans to annex the West Bank and drive Palestinians out.

“We warn of the grave danger posed by the plans led by the extremist occupation regime and illegal settler groups to displace the residents of Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank,” Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi said.

Israel's far-right minister Bezalel Smotrich called for the full annexation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip last week.

Smotrich asserted that Israel should unequivocally declare there would be no Palestinian state.

He repeated his proposal of expanding Israeli settlements within the West Bank and other occupied territories.

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has killed or captured 69 terrorists linked to the Israeli spy agency Mossad during a major counterterrorism drill in the country's southeast, its spokesman says.

General Ahmad Shafaei, the spokesman for the “Martyrs of Security” drill, said Friday that a total of 23 terrorists have been killed and another 46 arrested in various clean-up operations ever since the IRGC Ground Force launched it in the Sistan and Baluchestan province on November 1.

Seven terrorists have also turned themselves in during the period.

“The undeniable fact about terrorists is that they rely on arrogant powers, particularly the intelligence service of the wicked and vicious Zionist regime," Shafaei said.

“Unfortunately, weapons and munitions at terrorists’ disposal are among the most sophisticated ones in the world. This accounts for their heavy dependence.”

The official stated that several members of the disbanded terror teams were non-Iranian nationals, who had been hired by foreign intelligence agencies to carry out acts of sabotage and terror inside Iran.

In a most recent operation, six terrorists were arrested and four others were eliminated, three of whom were non-Iranians, he added.

On October 26, ten members of Iran's law enforcement forces were killed in a terrorist attack in the Gohar Kuh district of Taftan in the Sistan and Baluchestan province.

The so-called Jaish al-Adl terrorist group claimed responsibility for the assault, which was one of the deadliest in the province in recent months.

The group has carried out numerous terrorist attacks in Iran, primarily in Sistan and Baluchestan.

Its tactics include the abduction of border guards as well as targeting civilians and police stations within the province to incite chaos and disorder.

In January, Iran launched a military operation during which the headquarters of the Pakistan-based terrorist group was targeted in missile strikes, destroying its infrastructure.
