“We need to remember that hatred begets hatred, and one who rules by the sword, dies by the sword. There is no way to peace except through good will and benevolence,” he said.
The message of Christmas is loud and clear to all who hear: “Let us look into the crib of Christ and marvel at the glitter in those eyes. Let us celebrate Christmas the way simple shepherds and the Wise Men from the East celebrated it. They returned with hearts full of love, peace and joy. Let us, as God's children, promote peace and harmony in our society.”
“Let the sunshine of happiness flow from our hearts because in each of them is the abode of God.
“Let us become His living temples, and brothers and sisters to one other. May Jesus, the Babe of Bethlehem, grant us his love, peace and joy at Christmas and throughout the New Year,” said the Bishop.
