Udupi, Jan 7: A 22-year-old youth from Udupi is among the 11 persons who scored 100 percentile in the CAT conducted on November 25, 2018.
Niranjana Prasad M, son of Jayadev Prasad Moleyar, Head, Department of MBA, MITE, Moodbidri, and Kirtana Prasad, Professor at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), now have to decide whether he should go for an MBA after his final year M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-M, or take a job and work for two or three years and then study MBA.
“I will talk to my parents, my seniors and well-wishers and then decide. But if I decide to take it up immediately, I will prefer to do it in IIM-Ahmedabad,” he was quoted as saying by a news paper. Mr. Prasad said he used to study for two to three hours daily for the CAT.
His hobbies include chess and swimming. “I attribute my success to my parents, my teachers and my friends, who always encouraged me,” he said.
He said his role models were Mukesh Ambani, for revolutionising the telecom sector, and former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan.
