Mysuru, Oct 12: Karnataka Minister for Kannada and Culture and Women Welfare Dr Jayamala Thursday emphasised that only when women get their opportunities will the society improve and asked them to take advantage of various schemes and projects launched by the Government for their welfare.
“The state government has introduced several schemes for women empowerment.
They have to make proper use of these schemes to be identified well in the society,” she added.
Speaking after inaugurating the Women’s Dasara, Exhibition and Sales at J K Grounds, Organised by Women’s and Children’s Dasara Sub-committee, she said; “How can we achieve women empowerment if they are deprived of opportunities? They should get employment and come up in life.
This is also the goal of state government.
