Mirpur, Apr 6: Pacer Angelo Mathews struck in the second over to bowl out Indian opener Ajinkya Rahane (3) after Sri Lanka elected to bowl in the World T20 final at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday.

While all-rounder Thisara Perera comes in for Seekkuge Prasanna in Sri Lankan squad, India remain unchanged.

The toss was delayed due to rain. However, there was no reduction in overs and it will be a full 20-overs per side game.

India who cruised to the summit clash without a single loss in the tournament will be eyeing their second title. No team has won the World Twenty20 title twice or by remaining unbeaten throughout a tournament.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will be aiming for a perfect farewell for Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene, who'll be playing their last T20 International, by clinching their maiden title.

India: Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, MS Dhoni(c), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma

Sri Lanka: Kusal Perera, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Angelo Mathews, Lahiru Thirimanne, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara, SMSM Senanayake, Rangana Herath, Lasith Malinga (C)

The last status was India 65/2 vs Sri Lanka, Rohit leaves.
