Dear Amrit Shenoy, i dont agree with you. Being a loyal party member you should follow the dicision taken by high command and none should be selfish. There are many aspirants for the seat and high command can select one person only. This does not mean that you should act agaisnt the party. This shows that you are selfish and not loyal to party. Any loyal member should not expect any for himself and he should work wth the party accepting whatever decision is taken by high command. By contesting as indenpendnt candidate, you yourself know that you cannot win and yu will only waste few votes which should be casted in favor of congress candidate. By doing so you are alternatively acting agaisnt your own party and helping the opponents. God bless you with right way of thinking.
