Bengaluru, Feb 28: The Karnataka state government has promoted 34 senior KAS officers to the IAS rank under promotional quota. The Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions has cleared the list of KAS officers recommended by the State for promotions.
However, promotion of KAS officers will come into effect only after the disposal of cases pending before the Supreme Court and the Central Administrative Tribunal branch, Bengaluru.
The promoted KAS officers are: M.R. Ravi, P.N. Ravindra, K. Jyothi, C.N. Meena Nagaraj, Akram Pasha, K. Leelavathy, P. Vasantha Kumar, Karee Gowda, Shivananda Kapashi, Gangubai Ramesh Mankar, Kavitha S. Mannikeri, R.S. Peedapaiah, G.C. Vrushabendra Murthy, K. Harish Kumar, M.R. Ravi Kumar, M.B. Rajesh Gowda, Mahantesh Bilagi, K.N. Ramesh, Patil Yelagouda Shivanagouda, S. Honnamba, R. Latha, K. Srinivas, M.S. Archana, K. Dayananda, G. Jagadeesha, K.M. Janaki, C. Sathyabhama, Rajamma A. Chowda Reddy and K.S. Latha Kumari, B.C. Sateesha, H. Basavarajendra, H.N. Gopal Krishna, N. Shiva Shankara, Arundathi Chandrashekar.
Ms. Rajamma Reddy has been provisionally included in the list subject to clearance with respect to the disciplinary proceedings, criminal proceedings, pending against her and grant of integrity certificate by the State government, a notification issued by the State government said.
