Mangaluru, Oct 26: A Hindutva group, which considers Indian Muslim youths as their biggest enemies, has hinted at resorting to terrorism. Suryanarayan, a senior leader of Bajrang Dal on Monday told media persons in Mangaluru that Hinduva activists would not hesitate to carry weapons in their hands in future.
Holding Muslim youths and Muslim dominant organisations such as Popular Front of India responsible for attacks on Sangh Parivar activists in coastal Karnataka including the recent murder of Bajrang Dal activist Prashant Poojary in Moodbidri, he demanded the government to immediately ban PFI and other Muslim organisations in the state.
“Leaders of Muslim community should guild their youths to stop violence and lead a peaceful life in the society. If they failed to do so, we may have to carry weapons in our hands...,” he warned.
Congratulating the Mangaluru City Police for arresting nine persons in connection with the murder of flower vendor Prashant Poojary, who had involved in illegal activities in Moodbidri area, Mr Suryanarayan said that the police should intensify the probe into the case and make more arrests.
He also demanded the state government to immediately release a compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the family members of the murdered youth.
