Mangalore, March 25: A tiny tot was killed when he accidentally fell into a compost pit at Alangar near Moodbidri on Saturday. According to police, the deceased is Sooraj (2), son of Vishwanath Shetty, a hotelier. It is learnt that the pit did not have any protection wall. Though the baby was rushed to the hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead. A case has been registered.
