Mangaluru, Dec 31, 2016: A day after clinching the Mangalore Premier League (MPL) title, members of the coastaldigest.com cricket team on Saturday took part in a celebratory roadshow across the city, proudly displaying the glittering trophy.
A carnival-like atmosphere prevailed on the main streets of the coastal city as dozens of vehicles carrying enthusiastic coastaldigest.com fans joined the roadshow, which commenced from Nehru Maidan on Saturday evening.
The rally passed through M.G. Road, Lal Bagh, Kadri, Kankanady and Pumpwell before proceeding towards Thokkottu. The celebrations culminated with a grand party at Someshwar Beach.
On Friday night, coastaldigest.com defeated Maestro Titans by six wickets in the final of the MPL 2016, organised by the Karnataka Regional Cricket Academy.
