Mangaluru: Planning a temple visit or a day trip during Dasara? The Mangaluru division of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is offering five special package tours covering popular temples and tourist destinations in Karnataka and neighbouring areas.

The special tours will operate from October 11 to 20, giving passengers an option to visit multiple destinations in a single day without having to arrange separate transport.

Advance reservations are available through the KSRTC website.

  1. Mangaluru Dasara Navadurga Darshan

This package covers several prominent temples in and around Mangaluru and Dakshina Kannada.

The bus will leave the Mangaluru bus stand at 8 am and visit:
• Soorya Narayana Temple, Maroli
• Mariamma Temple, Bolara
• Mangaladevi Temple
• Polali Rajarajeshwari Temple
• Kodiyadka Annapoorneshwari Temple, Hosnadu
• Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple
• Bappanadu Durgaparameshwari Temple
• Sasihithlu Bhagavathi Temple
• Chitrapura Durgaparameshwari Temple
• Urwa Mariamma Temple
• Kudroli Gokarnanath Temple

The bus will return to Mangaluru by 8.30 pm.
Fare: Rs 500 for adults and Rs 400 for children aged 6 to 12.

  1. Mangaluru–Talacauvery–Bhagamandala

The bus will depart Mangaluru at 7 am and cover:
• Puttur Mahalingeshwara Temple
• Talacauvery Temple
• Bhagandeshwara Temple
• Triveni Sangama
• Abbi Falls
• Raja Seat

The bus will return to Mangaluru by 9.30 pm.
Fare: Rs 600 for adults and Rs 500 for children aged 6 to 12.

  1. Mangaluru–Kollur

This package will begin at 8 am and cover:
• Uchila Mahalakshmi Temple
• Kaup Mariamma Temple
• Mandarthi Durgaparameshwari Temple
• Kamalashile Brahmi Durgaparameshwari Temple
• Kollur Mookambika Temple
• Maranakatte Brahmalingeshwara Temple

The bus will return to Mangaluru by 8 pm.
Fare: Rs 600 for adults and Rs 500 for children aged 6 to 12.

  1. Mangaluru–Sigandur

The bus will leave Mangaluru at 7 am, covering Kundapura, Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple and Kollur Mookambika Temple.

It will return to Mangaluru by 7.30 pm.
Fare: Rs 700 for adults and Rs 600 for children aged 6 to 12.

  1. Mangaluru–Sringeri

The Sringeri package will start from Mangaluru at 8 am and cover:
• Kodiyadka Annapoorneshwari Temple
• Sringeri Sharadamba Temple
• Hariharapura Mutt
• Rishyasringeshwara Temple
• Kigga

The bus will return to Mangaluru by 7.30 pm.
Fare: Rs 600 for adults and Rs 500 for children aged 6 to 12.
