Jeddah: Urdu Academy Jeddah organized its 12th quarterly program of 2026 with great enthusiasm at the Girls’ Section of International Indian School Jeddah in Aziziyah, celebrating students who achieved outstanding results in the recent CBSE Board examinations.

The event was presided over by Hafiz Mohammad Abdus Salam, while Dr. Mohammad Aslam Khan attended as the chief guest. Distinguished guests included Abdul Qadeer Hassan Siddiqui and Dr. Mohammad Imran.

Several prominent personalities from Jeddah graced the occasion, including former IISJ Chairman Dr. Mohammad Abdul Saleem, Prince Mufti Zia, Mohammad Farooq, Vice Principal Farhadunnisa, Administrative Officer Naheed Fatima, Dr. Mohammad Asif Khan, Dr. Sabna Kutta, Mahtab Qadr and Syed Afzaluddin Naqshbandi. Speakers lauded the Academy’s continued efforts in promoting academic excellence and preserving Urdu literary culture among the younger generation.

The program began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Mohammad Nizamuddin Ghouri, followed by a heartfelt Naat presented by Dr. Khawaja Yameenuddin. In his welcome address, Hafiz Mohammad Abdus Salam highlighted the Academy’s literary, educational, and cultural initiatives aimed at strengthening Urdu language and heritage among students.

The event, moderated by Program Coordinator Aslam Afghani, featured keynote addresses by Dr. Mohammad Aslam Khan and Dr. Mohammad Imran, both of whom stressed the importance of moral values, education, and preserving linguistic identity among youth.

A special segment honored members of the IISJ Managing Committee, including Syed Naeemuddin Bari, Dr. Mohammad Asif Khan, and Dr. Sabna Kutta. Felicitations were also extended to Dr. Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig, along with guests of honor Dr. Mohammad Imran and Abdul Qadeer Hassan Siddiqui.

The audience also enjoyed a range of literary and interactive sessions, including “Alfaz-o-Maani” conducted by Dr. Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig and “Adhoore Ashaar” presented by Joint Coordinator Syed Abdul Wahab Qadri. A light-hearted and engaging speech session by Dr. Khawaja Yameenuddin and Athar Usloobi added humor and energy to the evening.

One of the major attractions of the program was a vibrant Mock Mushaira, where students including Bariyah Fatima, Huda Irfan Hashmi, Zoya Manal, Maryam Fatima, Zainab Subhani, Anaya Maheen Khan, Mohammad Farhan Ahmed, Hasan Mustafa, Mohammad Rahmatullah, Shayan Waris, Riaz-ur-Rahman, Mohammad Sohail, and Mohammad Maaz impressed the audience with their poetic talent and stage presence.

Commemorative mementos were presented to the CBSE toppers and participating students by the dignitaries, while teaching staff members were honored with ceremonial shawls in recognition of their dedicated service.

The successful organization of the event was supported by Hafiz Mohammad Nizamuddin Ghouri, Mohammad Jaffar, Abdul Qadeer, Mohammad Waseem, and several volunteers. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mohammad Yusuf Waheed, who expressed gratitude to the guests, school management, parents, and volunteers for making the event a memorable success. Arrangements were coordinated by Mohammad Yahya, Ghilmaan Raza, and Sirajunnisa, while the event was streamed live with support from Hafiz Zeeshan Ali, Hafiz Mohammad Zubair, and Sheikh Aleem.
