Mangaluru, July 29: A native of Sanur near Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada district was killed in a tragic workplace accident in Oman on Monday, July 27.

The deceased has been identified as Rajavarma Jain (33), a resident of Moolaguthu House, Sanur.

According to available information, Rajavarma was employed with a private company in Oman. The fatal accident reportedly occurred when a co-worker was reversing a company vehicle. Rajavarma is said to have accidentally come under the wheels of the reversing vehicle, resulting in his death.
