Abu Dhabi: An Indian expatriate from Mangaluru has passed away in a tragic road accident in the UAE, prompting an outpouring of support from the community and local volunteer groups.
The deceased, Chethan Raj, a resident of the UAE and originally from coastal Karnataka, died following the accident that occurred on April 20, 2026. News of his sudden demise has left friends, relatives, and the wider NRI community in deep shock.
After the incident came to light, volunteers from the Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF UAE) in Abu Dhabi stepped in to assist the grieving family. The organization quickly mobilized its team to coordinate support and ensure that all immediate requirements were addressed.
KCF UAE extended full assistance in completing legal and administrative procedures related to the case. Family members of the deceased were closely supported throughout the process, with the group providing guidance and standing by them until all formalities were concluded.
The response highlights the strong sense of unity and compassion among the Kannadiga diaspora in the UAE, especially during times of crisis.
